The power of print

Posted Saturday, October 30th, 2010 by .

Every Sunday when the family goes to church, or attends the fundraisers and special events the church hosts, most don’t take the time to consider how much work has gone into advertising and preparing for the event.  When you walk in on Sundays and at the door someone hands you a printed flyer with the syllabus of the ceremony, do you ever wonder who took the time and had the money to print so many of these flyers?  The coordinators of the church could pay to have these printed, or maybe they just have a high-quality HP 95 ink printer. In the event of a leak or spill

Posted Friday, October 29th, 2010 by .

Toner is a powder-based substance that goes inside cartridges and is used in laser printers.  It can produce documents quickly, thus making it more suitable for office use.  Printer ink is a liquid-based substance that is found in small tanks and fits nicely into slots inside inkjet printers.  These are designed more for personal use, such as photo printing and graphics.  Though these two systems of printing are quite different, a leak or spill is equally as annoying. The appeal of remanufactured toner

Posted Thursday, October 28th, 2010 by .

Many people opt to buy toner from the same company that made their printer.  There is a comfort and trust that big manufacturers provide, leaving consumers with no doubt that quality will be the highest possible.  However, most major manufacturers offer low prices for printers in hopes that you will purchase overpriced replacement toner from them.  Though most will fall into this trap, the whispers of alternative options have gotten louder and begun to reach more people. New recycling system making progress

Posted Tuesday, October 26th, 2010 by .

Toner cartridge recycling has been a work in progress for years.  It began as a “drill and fill” program, which consisted of companies taking used cartridges, including HP Q5942x toner, drilling a hole in them and refilling them with toner.  Though it may have seemed like a simple solution at the time, it turned into a problem when lack of concern for the quality of the cartridge began causing leaks and ultimately printer damage.  This method gave toner recycling a bad name, and it was back to square one. Start a business from home

Posted Monday, October 25th, 2010 by .

There are many uses and demands when it comes to printers.  Some just need one for basic text printing, and other enjoy printing their digital photos at home.  Inkjet devices will appease the needs of these users.  Offices, however usually opt for a high-volume laser unit that can keep pace with multiple tasks and employees.  But what about home users that have more demanding needs?  For instance, a person decides to start their own t-shirt company.  They may have the technical knowledge to create unique graphics, but they will need a good printer and toner, such as HP Q3961A toner, to make the shirts. Printing for a cure

October is breast cancer awareness month.  Breast cancer is an epidemic and affects the lives of so many, and this campaign to raise money and awareness has become so important that even our nation’s strongest men, football players, are accessorizing in pink.  You have donated money and purchased the products, but this year you wanted to give more.  So you decided to organize a free concert in the park featuring some local bands and a few bigger bands.  All of the proceeds will go directly to the fight against this deadly disease. Recycled ink cartridges make path

Posted Thursday, October 21st, 2010 by .

There are many blogs and articles written about recycling and the importance of it for the future of this planet.  Many provide facts and statistics, while others opt to talk about the negative effect pollution and waste has had on the environment and will continue to have over the years.  Rarely, though, do people read about the progress we have made in this world.  Sure, recycling is a must, and so many people neglect the importance of it.  However, there are many changes that have been made- some small and simple, others innovative and potentially life-changing. Ink and toner in high demand

Posted Monday, October 18th, 2010 by .

There are a lot of businesses in the world that specialize in various things.  Some are small, some large, some are broad and some extremely specific.  In this county, the economy has taken its toll on small businesses especially.  It becomes harder and harder to maintain a steady flow of gross income for the average Joe, and more and more buildings are vacant and entrepreneurs’ dreams shut down.  Through all the hardships we face in the business world, toner and ink, such as HP 75XL ink, are more popular than ever.  Seemingly an unimportant item, the printer supplies genre is booming.
