It wasn’t too long ago in this country that recycling was just a concept, not something that many people participated in.  However, as time has passed and the environment has slowly started to change, more people are seeing the affect that our lack of concern is having on the weather and nature.  Americans are some of the most wasteful individuals on the planet, as well as being the least likely to accept responsibility for the demise of this planet.  But every time you throw your hamburger wrapper on the ground, or throw reusable plastic in the garbage, the world suffers. The glee club or show choir in high school is not exactly the quickest route to popularity, but it is a place where talented young adults can explore their ability and realize their dreams.  There are many differences between small clubs and the football team, for instance.  Most sports teams will get funding help from the school for uniforms, equipment, tournaments, transportation, etc.  Simple clubs or groups like the show choir will not get much help at all unless participating in state competitions.
