Hospitals see hundreds and thousands patients monthly.  Most doctors and nurses will not get overly attached to each patient, but there are a few that are there so often due to a chronic illness, that the staff begins to get attached.  This attachment makes the job hard sometimes, especially when it comes to terminal patients.  A 27 year old girl has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, and spends the majority of her days in the hospital.  On the surface, the deepest sympathy is felt for the pain and fear this young adult must endure, however, few consider the financial aspect.

The dirty truth is, health care doesn’t cover much, and because of her frail condition, she is forced to leave her job and move in with her parents so she has someone to take care of her 24 hours a day.  The medical bills are adding up, and will continue to until she loses her battle.  After a year of chemo, and some experimental drugs, her parents are on the verge of losing the house because the money is gone.  The hospital staff wants to help, so they decide to have a bake sale.  They need to advertise, and do so using a LaserJet, such as a HP CE253A toner printer, that is at the front desk.

One of the more creative receptionists creates designs while the other goes out and buys replacement toners, such as HP Q5452A toner, and different colored paper.  Once the design is complete, they use their high-grade machine to make hundreds of flyers and pass them around to the entire staff to hand out or hang up.

Unfortunately, there is no chance that the brownies and cookies will make enough money to pay all of this girls medical bills, but the effort alone might comfort her knowing how much she is loved.  The money made and the money saved by using a laser machine, such as an Okidata 42127403 toner printer, will all go to her and her family.  It may not seem like much, but it could mean the world to a family burdened with loss.
