HP ePrint

Posted Wednesday, July 6th, 2011 by .

If you don’t have a printer with HP ePrint, you should. HP ePrint is a printing feature that helps users print via mobile devices. Though it may not sound like something you think you need, HP ePrint can make a lot of things in your life a little bit simpler. If you have a smartphone, or any other handheld device with email capabilities, you will be able to use ePrint. However, you have to have an ePrint compatible machine.

So what HP printers are compatible with ePrint? Many of HP’s newest models support ePrint. A few of the most popular include the HP Photosmart e-All-in-One Printer-D110a, HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One Printer-B210a, HP LaserJet Pro CP1525nw and HP LaserJet CM1415fnw. For a full list of these, you can go to the HP website and take a look. If you have a fairly recent HP model, you may even find out that your current printer is listed!

How does ePrint work? All you have to do is attach a document to an email on your mobile device, and then email it to the printer. The printer will then know to print your documents out. That way they will print out wherever and whenever you need them too.

Imagine you are stuck in traffic, and your son calls you because he and his friends are going on a trip and are having trouble figuring out the appropriate directions. From your iPod, you can look the destination up and print the correct directions out for your son without even making it through the red light. Have you ever been sick on the day of a big meeting at work in which you had all the materials for? No one wants to drag themselves out of bed just to print something off for someone else.  With ePrint, you can print from home to your office and have your colleagues pick it up.
