There are a lot of HP printers out there- some new, some old, some cheap and some super expensive.  There are HP inkjet printers that use HP ink rather than toner.  There are HP LaserJet printers that have become the most manufactured and purchased kind of device.  With many different designs and features, the various kinds of LaserJet printers are made to fit into homes, dorm rooms, libraries, large offices, etc. 

There are some HP products that have four to six colors, while some have only black.  With a single cartridge, these are referred to as monochromatic, such as HP 1010 toner printers.  The mono units are specifically for text documents or black and white photos and would satisfy the needs of any college student.

So what is it that sets HP above the competition?  The available features are great, and the multiple functions increase efficiency in any work environment.  The professional quality text documents and realistic and beautiful pictures are awesome, too.  However, the Okidata C5550 toner printer has the same great qualities.  So what is different?

Most HP printers are versatile in the type of canvas they can print on.  Ranging from special photo paper to greeting cards to iron-on transfers for t-shirts, HP ink and toner will maintain the same quality, allowing users to make gifts, Christmas cards, team jerseys, etc. right from home.  HP didn’t get to the top by luck- they have been raising the bar with technologically advanced, reliable printers for years.
