Pocket printers are cool

You have been racking your brain lately to decide on a new business venture.  Always the entrepreneur, you want to be original, but logical.  Invent a service that is not yet offered by anyone else, but will soon be a must-have for many people.  The funds are limited, so you are working with a tight budget.  Perhaps it is time for you to go out and purchase a pocket printer that is compatible with the digital camera that you have.

You could walk around events, such as concerts, and take group pictures of people and then print the picture on the spot for a few dollars.  If they want a big copy, you can have a website set up with all of the images loaded that they can search and find and then order from you.  Those can be printed on your standard inkjet printer, or of course you could take them down to a photo lab.  This, however, is not exactly the appeal of the service you are offering.

The kicker for your operation is printing pictures as soon as they are taken.  Concerts are a good venue to start this endeavor, but certainly not the only place it could work.  Many bars or dance clubs will be filled with groups of friends indulging in good times.  Photo ops are happening every minute, and you could be there to capture them and sell the print.  Even ball games or amusement parks could work, though many already offer photograph options, so be sure what you are doing is legal.

If you get good equipment and take good pictures, you can propose an offer to the owners of certain venues or establishments that may work out a deal with you.  They may allow you to take official pictures for their website while still offering your print-on-demand option.  That way, everyone wins
