Recycle a cartridge, save the world, and make money
If you own a HP laser printer or an HP inkjet printer, then you might have to replace your cartridges every two to three months because they do not last for very long. Although laser printers are capable of printing at a much faster rate than an inkjet printer, many businesses still purchase inkjet printers for their operations. This is due to the innovative technology that manufacturers have included with their products. The method behind this technology is the freedom from using an ink cartridge. Xerox printers do not need to use cartridges because they use solid ink technology.
These sticks are placed in a reservoir for the printer. There will typically be four separate reservoirs, one for each color. Once the printer is turned on, the sticks will begin to melt and fill the containers. The printer container is filled until the stick is extinguished. The printer will evenly distribute and print text or photographs to the printer page. Once printing is completed, the substance from the sticks will solidify in order to prevent any leaking into the printer.
Xerox is also making a significant contribution to the environment by eliminating the need for inkjet cartridges. This is a great move by the company because the waste produced by these products is constantly a topic for discussion among environmental enthusiasts. Xerox has also patented their technology, so it is presumably more difficult for third party companies to create compatible sticks or blocks. Unfortunately for Xerox, these third party companies have been able to create an alternative design that will work efficiently with all of the Xerox phaser ink printer models.
The sticks are also confirmed to be completely non toxic and safe to handle. In fact, the president of the company that founded this product ate one of the sticks in order to prove that the product was non toxic. While this may not send the best message to our children, it is a great sign about the direction of the industry. Many consumers have enjoyed th3 product competition between ink and laser printers because it allows for them to get high quality printing products every day. The printer industry has thrived due to this competition, and it does not seem like the fight will be over any time soon.
