Consider running a “green” business so show how important it is for your company to be aware of the environment.  Research how much of a difference you can make and get it started.  Almost all cartridges can be recycled, even Canon MF4150 toner cartridges.  There are many programs available, so you are sure to find one that fits.

In fact, you’ll discover that many institutions offer recycling programs for homes and offices. Sometimes the company is a reseller of Epson Cx11NF toner or a third party vendor for Brother HL-5240 toner, but you will be able to find companies that have nothing to do with the selling process and are exclusively designed to make the process safe and efficient.  As the same time, resellers with recycling programs may offer in-store credits for new products.

If you find a good program for recycling empty cartridges, present the idea to the office and your manager.  Resistance should be limited as it doesn’t take much extra effort from anyone.  It is as simple as throwing the empty cartridge into a recycling box rather than a garbage can.

Once you’ve started recycling, it’s a good idea to let your clients and potential customers know that you’re doing everything possible as a company to be environmentally conscious. This is a huge selling point to people who only would want to do business with a company that’s eco-friendly. It might cause your sales to increase once you begin to let people know you’re doing your part to save the earth.

When you begin recycling HP 5550 toner, maybe it will open up other “green” gates in you that you didn’t know you had.  In an office, you can recycle paper and cardboard. At home, you can start saving cans and bottles for recycling.  It will be like a domino effect of change!
